One table per game system

Built for your gameNot every game

We build one virtual tabletop per system, from scratch. Stars Without Number gets sectors and faction turns. Old School Fantasy gets a torch that actually burns down. Derelict gets stress, panic checks, and characters who die easy. Nothing here is a plugin โ€” and nobody at the table pays.

โ—† ONE

System-Shaped

It already knows what a clock is. Or a stress track, or a faction turn. You never teach the tool the rules โ€” they're the foundation it's built on.

โ—† TWO

Crafted, Not Configured

No mod packs. No spreadsheet cosplaying as a game. One craftsman, one system, one purpose-built table at a time.

โ—† THREE

Made for Tables

Players never pay and never sign up. They click a link, type a name, and they're at the table. You bring the world; we bring the seats.

Pick your system.

Questions we actually get

Do players pay anything?

Nobody pays. Players never pay: they click the invite link, tap once to sign in, and they are at the table. No password, no card, no signup form. The GM's account is free too. This is not a freemium tease; it is how ShawnsVTTs works, forever.

Why not just use a generic VTT?

Generic VTTs are toolboxes. You spend your prep hours teaching them your system, then patching the parts that don't fit. We start from the rules instead. A clock is a clock. A faction turn resolves on the map. Nothing to configure.

What happens when my system isn't built yet?

Tell us. The roadmap is driven by what people are actually running, and supporters get a vote on the order. The six tabletops here are all playable today, so what gets built next is a new system rather than finishing an old one.

Can I switch systems?

Yes. Free and Adventurer cover one system at a time and you can swap it whenever you like. Game Master covers two at once. World Builder covers everything on the shelf, including whatever launches next.

Is my campaign data mine?

It's yours. Export your sector, crew, clocks, and notes as JSON at any time, including after you cancel. No hostage-taking.

What Does VTT Stand For?

VTT stands for virtual tabletop. It is the software a roleplaying group uses to share a map, roll dice, and track characters when they are not in the same room.

Is Old-School Essentials Good?

Old-School Essentials is good if you want the 1981 rules presented so clearly you can find any of them mid-session. It is not trying to modernise the design, and that is the whole point.
